After graduating from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (1996), Nicolás obtained a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Energy and Environmental Law from Tulane University, Louisiana, United States. He has taught Financial Law for the Law Faculty and the Master’s Law Program of the Catholic University of Chile. Between 2007 and 2019, he also taught “Legal aspects of the company” for the MBA, MFA and IMF programs of the ESE Business School, Los Andes University. He is an arbitration judge at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Legal Committee of the Association of Public Infrastructure Concessionaires AG (COPSA) and a member of the Chilean Lawyers’ Association. In 2014 and 2019, he was named by Client Choice and Finance Monthly, respectively, as the best Chilean lawyer in the field of construction.
