Andrés Onetto is Head of Project & Infrastructure Finance at Scotiabank Chile (formerly BBVA Chile). Before joining the team in Chile, he worked for Citigroup New York, Sao Paulo, Mexico, Colombia and Chile, managing M&A transactions and project finance.
He previously worked for nine years as an M&A and project finance lawyer in Argentina. He studied law at the Catholic University of Argentina and holds a master’s degree in Finance from the CEMA University, Argentina, an LL.M. from Duke University School of Law and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University). Andrés has published over 30 articles on legal and financial subjects and is a correspondent of Butterworths Journal of International Banking and Financial Law (UK).
