Guillermo Tagle studied economics and business administration at the Universidad Católica de Chile and holds an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is a director of Bolsa Electrónica de Chile and Depósito Central de Valores. He is also an associate professor at the School of Administration of the Economic and Administrative Sciences Faculty of the Catholic University of Chile. He is President of the Chilean Finance Ministry’s Capital Markets Consultative Council, Vice-President of the Alumni Association of the Economic and Administrative Sciences Faculty of the Catholic University of Chile and a director of InBest and Fundación Teletón.
He formerly served as Director of Research and then Director of Capital Markets and CEO at Santander Investment Chile. He was CEO of IM Trust Chile S.A. of which he became a partner in 2007. He is currently Executive President of Credicorp Capital Chile.
